Killing dopple?
I have my new dervish who I am trying to make into a legendary survivor. I stopped before the mission where you need to do it to "ascend" so I could go to elona and do dopple for more experience first.
Just wondering if there are any good builds that can kill the doppleganger easily.
I am d/mo.

I beat him very easily --- just take a bunch of AoE enchants and one scythe attack like mystic sweep -- when you spawn he will cast all the enchants after he does that run in cast all yours doing the prelim damage which should do a nice chunk of damage, then swing away with the scythe....i think the fight took about 30 seconds. I do apologize for not being able to give you an exact build as I threw this thing together after fighting to a stale mate with the first build I tried.

I went in with no skills. The scythe is better than his weapon, especially if it is 15^50 or customized, although it shouldn't be necessary. Just swing away and he dies.

Bring Healing Breeze and a couple of scythe attacks. He won't use HB, the only time he will use it is to counter Degen.

bah, just bring frenzy (assuming you are D/W and let him use it, he attacks faster, but you do double damage to him ) and if you are not D/W, switch classes

It's best to go in with an empty skill bar. He only uses an axe which doesn't do as much damage as your scythe. If you take any skills he will have the skills as well. Just go in blank and beat on him. I bet you get masters on it too.

Go blank skillbar except for one skill. Healing breeze. Keep this up always. For some odd reason the dopple doesnt use it unless he has degen. Then just hack away at him.

Dopple is easy. Take any attack skills u fancy, like chilling victory etc, and take Ebon Dust and an Ebon Scythe. If he cant hit you, how can he kill you?
Took me 7ish Seconds t kill the fool.

I haven't had the time or patience to get my derv to Desert, but I'm guessing the scythe your dopple wields isnt ebon, so as the above poster said: Bring an ebon scythe and blind him.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I wasn't far enough to get the ebon dust aura elite since I wanted to ascend before "ascending" in elona for the extra 50k experience. I ended up just taking a mystic sandstorm spike build since I figured he wouldn't know how to do it right. It got pretty close with his scythe attacks and lucky enchant casts, but it did the trick. Finally at 180k experience, tier 1 survivor. Now to slowly work on getting higher up to tier2.

bring 3-4 ranger spirits(get really useless ones, like Zephyr, Edge of extinction, etc), plus 4 skills to damage him.
He'll cast every single spirit before engaging you in battle, which could take around 20 seconds. More than enough to kill him.

Vow of Silence and a skillbar of enchantment spamming. He'll use the vow and sit there doing nothing.

if you enter using scythe attacks he wont be able to use them because he is wielding an axe. Be careful though, he can use some of the attacks that are under the scythe mastery attribute because some of them say "melee attack" and not "scythe attack". make sure all the attack skills you bring say "scythe attack".

IAS + Vamp Weapon = easy win.
Go /A and use Locust's Fury with Vamp Daggers and IAS for a slaughter.

thats absolutly wrong. the dopple can use scythe attacks, hammer attacks, and dagger attacks. I dont think he can use spear attacks though.
